The cold temperature did not deter hundreds of children and their parents from flocking to James Hargest College senior campus for a fun-filled day.
Kidzone event director Karen Witham said it was an emotional feeling, finally delivering the festival.
''We have been planning every detail since March. We always like to make
some things slightly different to keep it fresh.
''It is an event for everyone to have fun.''
The event, which features more than 150 different attractions, runs for six days.
