Emergency services have been called to a two car crash on the outskirts of Riverton, Southland.
A police spokeswoman said they received a call at about 5.40 of a two car crash on the Orepuki-Riverton Hwy near Blackmore Rd.
She said both people were out of the vehicles and there was no indication of injuries, but the west-bound lane was blocked.
