Motorists are being warned to beware of high winds in the South.
The New Zealand Transport Agency has advised that extra care is required on State Highway 1 from Milton to Balclutha and on State Highway 90 from Raes Junction to McNab.
Motorists in high-sided vehicles and those riding motorcycles should take particular care.
