Today and next week, it's all about women in Clutha.
The 13th annual Positively Clutha Women's Week for Women begins tonight with keynote speaker Geraldine Brophy, at the Clinton Community Centre.
The Kiwi actress is better known as Moira, the receptionist in Shortland Street, or as the redhead who danced her way around the floor partnered by Stefano Olivieri on the TVNZ show Dancing with the Stars.
Positively Clutha Women co-ordinator Nyree Dickie said the actress had been through a lot and would be an interesting speaker.
Mrs Dickie said the workshops were very popular, and tickets for the "B U" events were selling fast.
"I guess we hit the nail on the head with the crafts we picked this year," she said.
Stone carving, digital scrapbooking, flax-weaving and making Christmas decorations are some of the crafts people can take part in.
A bus trip to Riverstone Kitchen just north of Oamaru, and various arts and crafts were among the activities on offer.
