Waikoikoi School (roll 20) won the West Otago Primary School Athletic Sports - Athletic Championship Award this year.
The award is contested between the three West Otgo Primary Schools, Tapanui, Heriot and Waikoikoi.
For the smallest school in the competition this was an outstanding effort and hasn't been achieved by the school since 2003. The sports day was held on Thursday March 5th at the Blue Mountain College Grounds at Tapanui on a beautiful sunny day.
A special assembly was held today (Friday 20th March) at the school to award certificates to winning students and to all who participated in the day.
