A vehicle hit ice and flipped on its side near Clinton this morning.
A Fire Service spokesman said a vehicle hit ice on State Highway 1 in Waiwera South, near Robertson Rd, about 8.30am.
The woman driving the vehicle was not injured.
A police spokeswoman said the ''dangerous" stretch of road was covered in ice.
The vehicle hit ice and flipped on its side.
