Two people have been taken to Dunedin Hospital in moderate conditions after a car crash between Waitahuna and Milton this afternoon.
Emergency services were called to the single-car accident on State Highway 8 at 1.30pm.
A police spokeswoman said traffic was backed up for about 40 minutes, but was now flowing.
The patients were taken to Dunedin Hospital by ambulance.
