Interest is still "buzzing'' around the highly sought-after land and house packages being offered in Kaitangata.
Property consultant Margot Berney said people were still travelling to the small town to see what was on offer.
"People are just rocking up to Kai and driving all around the place.''
She said there had been "lots of inquiries'' but no offers on the eight sections that went on the market last week.
The first lot of seven sections were sold rapidly, bought by people from Christchurch, Australia and Kaitangata.
The house and land package, which has a starting price of $230,000, got international attention online and in mainstream media last month.
The Clutha District Council also owned some land in Kaitangata and was looking at putting that on the market as sections.
"They've got a bit of work to do on [the sites] and I'm not sure when that's going to be.''
Interest was coming from Australia, where the story had featured widely in the media, but there was also a lot of interest from the Otago and Southland area, Mrs Berney said.
The process was a bit slower than the usual house purchase as once an offer was made, prospective buyers were required to show an expression of interest and declare their intentions.
