The hunt is on for a new organiser for the Big River Festival.
The annual event is held in Balclutha, usually in February or March. However, this year's has been postponed until later in the year.
Several different groups and individuals have run past festivals.
Clutha District Council community support and development adviser Jean Proctor said a new organiser was needed to keep the festival going.
There were many opportunities available with the festival, she said.
''It could be a food or sport festival ...it could have an arts focus - it's up to the drivers. The concept is there, the name is there. It just needs a driver.''
''It would be good to have some new blood.''
