Local Legends: Sarah & Chris Chittock

Sarah and Chris Chittock take the Clutha Leader, Silver Fern Farms Local Legend lamb leg home, the first of May.

The Glenomaru-Romahapa husband and wife, parents of four age 6 to 12-year-old children are well known for their reliable presence with Kaka Point Surf Life Saving Club, and local rugby.

"We were supported in the things we wanted to do when we were young," Mr Chittock said.

"It just makes sense you give something back to the community, especially when kids of your own are in the thick of it, you want to make it as good as you can for them."
