The TrustPower Clutha District Community Awards will be held in Balclutha on Monday night.
Forty-one entries were received, down from last year's record of 48.
The awards recognise and reward volunteers for the outstanding contribution they make to the community.
The Clutha awards are run in partnership with the Clutha District Council and cover five categories - heritage and environment, health and wellbeing, arts and culture, sport and leisure, and education and child/youth development.
Category winners receive $500 and the runners-up $250. The supreme winner is awarded $1500, a trophy, a framed certificate and a trip to the TrustPower National Community Awards in Invercargill next March.
The awards will be held on Monday at 5.30pm at the Rosebank Lodge in Balclutha.
