One of New Zealand's longest-established ski shops, with a passion for the snowsports industry, will support the 2009 Winter Games NZ.
Browns Ski Shop, established in Queenstown in 1980 and in Auckland in 2007, has announced its sponsorship of the elite international winter sports event, being held throughout Otago and broadcast nationally and internationally from August 21 to 30.
Browns co-owner Kris Vermeir said the company was absolutely thrilled to support the biggest winter sports event outside the Winter Olympics, as the event's official ski retailer.
Winter Games NZ will be held at Coronet Peak, the Remarkables, Cardrona Alpine Resort, Snow Farm, Naseby and Dunedin.
