Waianakarua Road (Kakanui Bridge) - Caution. The river's height/pressure has reduced considerably. SouthRoads will continue to man the bridge at both ends and allow only one car at time across until dark. SouthRoads will continue to monitor water-flow after this and react to any raise in water during the night.
Waitaki Plains (Except Ferry, Gray, Papakaio, Gibson Rds) - Caution. All roads within the Waitaki Plains area (Pukeuri, to Waitaki Bridge Village, to Georgetown) have been affected by flooding. Please take due care. Seven Mile Road is available as a detour.
Weston-Ngapara Road - Caution. Has been affected by flooding from Coal Pit Road to Wellington Street.
Weston-Ngapara Road - Caution. Has been affected by flooding from Slaughter Yard Road to Tussocky Road.

The following roads in the Milton/Waihola area are currently closed due to surface flooding:
Milton area: Toko Mouth Road, Elliotvale Road (from Black Bridge Road to Toko Mouth Road), Butts Road, Bruce Road, Table Hill Road (closed at bridge).
Waihola area: Young Road, Titri Road, Taieri Ferry Road.
