U3A Wakatipu wins $1000 prize

Attending this week's announcement that U3A Wakatipu had won a $1000 prize from SBS Bank are (from left) SBS Bank business development manager Honor Mathieson, U3A Wakatipu member Bob Cranfield, U3A Wakatipu administrator Gitti Tapper, U3A Wakatipu chairwoman Mary Stammers-Smith and SBS staff member Johanna Edis.

U3A was the winner of one of 10 monthly $1000 prizes through its SBS Star bank account.

Other Wakatipu winners have been the Arrowtown Autumn Festival, the Queenstown Mountain Bike Club and the Wakatipu Yacht Club.
