St Joseph's School year 8 leavers and high achievers (from left) Ryan Clark, Sophie Lardizabal, Christina Calvero, Jessie Kelly, Ellie McKone, Lucy Dickson, Sophia Harris, Olivia Whelan-Henderson, Bianca Gibson, Cameron-Leigh Murphy, Marie Eden, Abigail Mayo and Richard Nock (all 13) with their new Bibles at the conclusion of the school's end-of-year and graduation ceremony in St Joseph's Catholic Church, Queenstown, on Tuesday evening.
The Catholic Women's League applied for and received $300 from the community fund of Fresh Choice supermarket's community fund to provide each school leaver with a Bible of their own, as is tradition.
