New Zealand pop-culture institutions the Topp Twins Jools, as Camp Leader, and Lynda, as Camp Mother, say they went from entertaining local government managers to entertaining drag queens, while in Queenstown this week.

The untouchable girls brightened the managers' annual conference, and then went on to perform at Rydges Lakeland Resort on Thursday night, as part of Gay Ski Week NZ.

The comedy stars said their popular characters were "all in the bag and we never know what we're going to pull out".

Lynda yesterday morning said she anticipated quite a big gay and lesbian contingent at the show, but Jools joked there would probably be only gays attending, as lesbians could not afford to go skiing.
