Runaway sheep kept Queenstown police busy this morning.
Senior Sergeant Paula Enoka said about 30 sheep broke out of their paddock and ended up on the Crown Range Rd at 12.45am.
When police arrived the farmer and “his trusty dog had rounded most of them up” with the exception of six.
Snr Sgt Enoka said it was lucky there was limited traffic on the Crown Range at that time of day.
