Kiwi Discovery packages are on offer for $699 for the full season or $499 as an off-peak rate, which excludes the July school holidays.
Holders of the bus pass will also have access to friends and family rates, providing discounted transport, ski and snowboard hire and savings at the clothing store in town.
Kiwi Discovery sales and marketing manager Sharon Gray said the bus would pick up from 27 locations including accommodation outlets around Queenstown, although there would be no Arrowtown pick-up.
Senior drivers had been recruited to drive the buses and Mrs Gray said every driver had to complete a "rigorous" practical test, which included chain fittings.
General manager Tim Barke said this was important to reassure passengers they were in safe hands.
"It's important for clients to feel confident with their driver in adverse winter conditions and we work hard to make it a hassle-free day."
The company has 20 buses on hand for the season and will bring in five more over the busy ski period.
Bus season passes can be purchased at the Camp St Kiwi Discovery Shop or online at www.kiwidiscovery.com
