At least one person is believed to have been seriously injured in a two-car crash on State Highway 6, at the intersection with Peninsula Rd, the turn-off to Kelvin Heights, last night.
A police spokesperson said the road, governed by a 70kmh speed limit either side of the intersection, was "completely blocked, and will be for some time".
