A motorist was taken to Lakes District Hospital in a critical condition after a crash near Queenstown.
A van rolled into a ditch on Glenorchy-Queenstown Road, near the Wilsons Bay Reserve, about 9,15pm on Wednesday, a police spokeswoman said.
The van came to rest on its side in a ditch. The crash site is about 10km west of the resort.
