A man believed to have been cycling near Arrowtown was taken to hospital with moderate injuries yesterday.
St John spokesman Gerard Campbell said he was injured on the track between Macetown and Arrowtown.
The incident happened about 1pm.
The injured man was taken to Lakes District Hospital in Queenstown for treatment.
