Lime scooters could soon be available on the streets of Queenstown.
A Queenstown Lakes District Council spokesman says the council is "currently in discussions" over the introduction of Lime scooters to the town, but he believed Wanaka would not be included.
The question was raised by the Otago Daily Times after spotting a Lime scooter in Ardmore St, Wanaka, yesterday.
Lime introduced its scooters to northern centres last year and Dunedin earlier this year but does not yet have a permit to operate anywhere in the Queenstown Lakes district.
