Hub Design Interiors owner Carmen Hubber says she’s "truly overjoyed" with the award, especially as she’s celebrating 21 years in business.
"Our heartfelt thanks go to our incredible clients, who entrusted us with their vision and allowed us to bring their dream to life while celebrating both their home and the local area."
Elements of the enlarged kitchen include an induction hob on the island and a rustic round feature table on the end of it, both allowing social interaction, and pipe-style extractors to minimise the obstruction to mountain views.
There’s a discrete bar with full-size integrated sub-zero fridge, freezer and pantry behind pocket doors, but all at one’s fingertips, and even a custom drawer to fit cat food for two moggies.
Hubber: "There were some really great design details which made it stand out."
The award’s also a credit to her four staff, she says.
She adds they also won highly-commended recognition at the Trends International Design Awards earlier this year.
