Gift of support

Aotea Gifts is standing on its pedals to support this month’s Queenstown Trails Trust’s annual appeal, matching all donations dollar-for-dollar up to $25,000.

Sealing the deal with trust boss Mark ‘Willy’ Williams, Aotea Gifts co-owner/operator Donald Hanson, left, says the decision to provide extra support after being a major donor since 2015 is a "no-brainer".

"The trails are a magnificent asset to the region and help enhance the experience of visiting and living here, so it’s important to support them."

A "thrilled" Williams says this level of support from a local business is gratifying.

"We’ve been so lucky to have this incredibly loyal base of Trail Lovers donating every year, but with over 400,000 runners, walkers and bikers using the trails every year, it’s great to cast the net wider andget support from businesses operating in Queenstown.”

The trust’s aiming to raise $100,000 this month.
