If you have not bought your tickets for the Gibbston Valley Winery Summer Concert, you are too late.

All 18,000 tickets for the January 20 show, headlined by Canadian singer-songwriter Alanis Morissette, have been sold.

Greenstone Entertainment chief executive Amanda Calvert said she was ``over the moon'' at the demand for tickets, which had exceeded her expectations.

``It's a huge surprise for us to sell out in such a short timeframe.''

Although Morissette was clearly a ``huge drawcard'', Greenstone would survey ticket buyers for the first time about which performer had been the greatest attraction.

She was not discounting the popularity of George Thorogood and former Men at Work lead singer Colin Hay.

It is the second date of the Summer Concert Tour to sell out. Tickets for Taupo, on January 27, were snapped up a week ago.

About 5000 tickets remain for the final concert, in Whitianga on January 28.

Morissette has sold more than 60million albums worldwide, including her international chart-topping hit album of 1995, Jagged Little Pill.
