Flights at Queenstown Airport were disrupted again by a drone yesterday.
Three outward and two inward flights were delayed by about 15 minutes after a drone was seen above Frankton marina.
Drones are not allowed in a controlled airspace or within 4km of an aerodrome. The marina is about 1km from the airport's runway.
Police were unable to find the drone pilot.
Yesterday's incident is one of a spate of reports where drones have been flown too close to the airport.
Last month a drone was flown above Frankton Rd, and in December three drones were reported in one week. One flew in front of a passenger jet.
