Driving error ends with car in ditch

A local driver ended up in the ditch near the Fernhill roundabout off Lake Esplanade and the Glenorchy-Queenstown Rd yesterday.

Senior Sergeant Steve Watt, of Queenstown, said the man had ''misjudged the track and slipped into a culvert''.

Police were called at approximately 11.15am to the scene.

No injuries were reported.
