Queenstown police are warning drivers to take care on icy roads after a crash on a bridge this morning.
A driver lost control of their vehicle on the Shotover Bridge at about 6am.
No one was injured in the crash. The large State Highway 6 bridge is a major route into town and there were some delays while the scene was cleared.
Acting Senior Sergeant Jon Bisset said: "With winter approaching, drivers need to be ensuring they drive to conditions and if there's ice on the roads drive much slower or not at all."
After days of torrential rain, which fell as heavy snow on the hills and mountains, people in the resort woke up to a clear but frosty day.
