Queenstown Plunket members (from left) administrator Ella Wilson, mother Meronea Nathan, Tamaraukura Watson (2), Ryley Fish (3) and receptionist Belinda Ricketts gratefully accept a cheque for $2150 from barman Jeremy Wynyard at Minus 5 Ice Bar on Steamer Wharf yesterday.

The funds were raised from hundreds of people entering the Santa's Grotto in the ice bar over five days before Christmas. The total was $150 more than the amount raised by the inaugural grotto in 2011. The money will be put towards the $40,000 landscaping work at the Plunket centre.
