The annual tournament, set up in memory of Queenstown pilot Mitch Gameren, raised money for the Cancer Society Queenstown.
Organiser Jenna Sayer said the amount raised was more than $6500, and could increase after a final tally.
"That’s more than last year and we are really pleased with the amount we’ve raised."
She said everyone made "a real effort" with costumes.
All 72 contestants, taking part in teams of four, dressed in costumes relating to the letter "C", for cancer.
Mrs Sayer said the atmosphere was "great". Bowls, tug of war and darts holes were added to the course. Players stripped down to their undies in the last one — which resulted in a few beeping horns from drivers on State Highway 6 nearby. She didn’t think it fazed the scantily clad contestants.
"It’s just a bit of fun, it was awesome. It was a really good day," she added.
