Brentwood Duo moving on

Isla and Finley Brentwood, of the Brentwood Duo, were voted out of X Factor Australia in a double elimination on Monday night.

The Arrowtown siblings, who now live in Melbourne, made it through to the top seven of the competition under coach Iggy Azalea, performing Go Your Own Way by Fleetwood Mac.

In a social media post yesterday, the pair thanked those on both sides of the Tasman for ''the most incredible support''.

Although they were ''gutted'' about the result, they were now looking forward, the post said.

''We're already planning our next adventure, and so thrilled to take Brentwood in the direction WE want to explore, making the music WE want to make.''

The X Factor Australia screens on Saturday, 7pm, TV3.
