In the first round, skiers and boarders aged 16 and under competed.
Each took two runs and was scored out of 30 points by three judges.
Kristal Roberts, of Cromwell, won Snowboard 16 Under Female, best run 18.9.
Sam Christie, of Wanaka, won Snowboard 12 Under Male, best run 21.
Beau-James Wells, of Wanaka, won Ski 16 Under, best run 27.6.
Adie Lawrence, of Queenstown, won Ski 16 Under Female, best run 20.7.
Jake Johnson, of Queenstown, won Ski 14 Under Male, best run 22.9.
Hank Bilous, of Wanaka, won Ski 12 Under Male, best run 22.
J. J. Rayward, of Wanaka, Snowboard 14 Under Male, best run 25.2.
The second Youth Mini Shred will be held at the Remarkables on September 19.
