The Warbirds Over Wanaka Charitable Trust appointed three new trustees this week in preparation for the 14th airshow in 2012.
Chairman Murray Cleverley, of Timaru, Graeme Ramshaw (Dunedin), Bill Gordon (Omarama) and Stephen Grant (Dunedin) have been joined by John Christie (Dunedin) and John Wilson and Garth Hogan (both of Wanaka).
Mr Christie is the chief executive of the Otago Chamber of Commerce, Mr Wilson a former deputy mayor of the Queenstown Lakes district, and Mr Hogan is a former chairman of the trust.
Mr Cleverley said long-serving airshow operations manager Ray Mulqueen, of Wanaka, had retired as a trustee, and Mr Ramshaw would be on sabbatical next year but remain a trustee.
The trust would hold its annual meeting in February, when it hoped to release audited accounts to the public and make some "exciting announcements", Mr Cleverley said.
"We are delighted to have such a depth of skills and commitment to Warbirds Over Wanaka with these trustees," he said.
Airshow event manager Mandy Deans said planning was "all go" for the biennial airshow, which was being held the same year as celebrations for the 75th anniversary of the Royal New Zealand Air Force.
Information packs were being put together, tickets would officially go on sale from February - already $88,000 worth of tickets have been sold to an Australian tour group - and the 2012 organising committee would be set up in February, Ms Deans said.
