Two people are being flown to Dunedin Hospital after a tandem bike crashed after developing speed wobbles and near Lake Hawea.
Police were alerted to the accident about 2.30pm.
Initial reports were the car and bicycle had collided, but it was later established no car was involved.
No further details are available.
