Queenstown Art Society president Karyn Hitchman (back) and Cloakroom Gallery manager Andie King (front) present some of the 36 original artworks submitted on Sunday for the 2013 Locations Art Awards.
Artists from around the Wakatipu, and from Blenheim to Gore, vie for the top $3000 Best of Exhibition prize and several sponsored awards at the awards evening on Friday.
The public can view the variety of oils, acrylics, mixed-media, digital collage and pen and wash works in the gallery, at the corner of Ballarat and Stanley Sts, from Saturday to November 24.
All artworks are for sale.
Mrs Hitchman said there was ''a really good diverse range of artworks and we're looking forward to hanging them. We can't wait for Friday.''
