A 1957 Chevrolet Coupe, 1973 HQ Kingsford, 1964 Corvette, 1973 Ford Fairmont GT and a rally Holden Torana were among the cars that gleamed in the sunshine at the Lake Hayes showground as club members and car buffs took in the show.
Kingston grandfather Sam Soper was enjoying the display with his family.
Mr Soper said he was "a car nut" and singled out the 1958 Jaguar XK1505 as a favourite.
Barry Michel, of Riverton, displayed his 1973 HQ Kingsford, which he restored over two years.
It was his first attendance at a Queenstown Car Club show.
"It's a weekend in Queenstown and [we're] just enjoying looking at all the cars and meeting people."
Kawarau Jet, A. J. Hackett Bungy, Repco and the Cow restaurant donated spot prizes for people's choice, best British, best American and best presented cars.
Alpine Street Machines members travelled from Cromwell to raffle a $4000 tool box to raise money for a club marquee.
Motoring magazines, tyres and home-made wooden toys were on sale.
Secretary Caroline Cullimore, of Queenstown, said Show 'n' Shine was the second car show the club had held since August 2008.
"It gives people an excuse to bring [their cars] out. We've got so many classic cars in this area and it gives the public a chance to wander about."
The club has 40 members and is encouraging more people to join.
Members meet at the Gold Ridge Hotel, in Queenstown, on the first Thursday of each month, at 7.30pm.
The next event would involve timed motorsports on a paddock, in Dalefield, in early November.
