The Wakatipu High School band - from left, guitarist Matt Milliken (17), drummer Matiu Gourlay (17), vocalist-guitarist Connor Williams (17), vocalist Alex Fraser (15) and bass player Josh Baldey (17) - will play two original songs, Can't See The Light and I'm Feeling It.
Alex said the band was really excited about the performance.
"We've only got a couple of days left but everyone's really amped. It's these guys' last Rockquest, so we want to leave an impression and we feel we've got a really good chance."
X-it Youth Centre is hoping to organise a bus to take a group to Wanaka to support all six Wakatipu bands competing.
