Youth Action Sports co-ordinator Josh Clark said the Slopestyle was a popular event which attracted many young people and a line-up of sponsors and prizes which included Ride Snowboards, Smith and Session outwear, with food provided by Motogrill and plenty of Moro bars on offer.
"This is a great event for people to just have a go.
"They can watch the Parklife Rider Team and learn from them as well as going hard in the park for their own points and prizes," Mr Clark said.
The series involved four Slopestyle events over two months, all held in the Up & Go Terrain Park.
"The Remarkables is regarded as the home of Slopestyle and this series is fun and exciting for both competitors and spectators."
Freestylers will use the terrain park features and rails as part of the Slopestyle line, while spectators can watch from the lift or any vantage point along the side of the park.
A cash and product prize pool valued at $3000 is on offer for each of the four events of the series.
Competitors need to register for the slopestyle before 10.30am today at Guest Services, the entry fee is $25 as well as a $20 bib deposit.
Following the event a junior prizegiving will be held on the deck at the Remarkables, while the open prizegiving will be held at the Buffalo Club from 8pm.
The next event in the series will be held on August 16.
