Questions will be answered and concerns heard by the senior management team of Queenstown Airport when they host a drop-in session about the ''noise mitigation packages'' offered to 150 Frankton homeowners.
Chief executive Scott Paterson will give a brief presentation on the $2 million insulation initiative, which is scheduled to start in September or October and is prompted by airport growth.
Display boards and maps will also explain the programme whereby the airport will pay the full cost to completely insulate 10 homes closest to the runway in the ''inner sector'' most affected by aircraft noise.
Another 140 households in the ''mid sector'' will be offered 75% towards the cost of installing mechanical ventilation.
• The drop-in session will be held in the St John rooms in Frankton Wednesday at 5.30pm to 7.30pm.
