Platinum-selling New Zealand artist Dane Rumble had crowds of skiers and snowboarders dancing and cheering when he performed a free slope-side concert at Coronet Peak on Saturday night.

The chart-topping former hip-hop band Fast Crew member had performed with British singer and producer Taio Cruz in Sydney the night before.

Rumble and his four-piece band performed his hits including Cruel, Everything (Take Me Down), Always Be Here and new single What Are You Waiting For?The Auckland-based artist was the second New Zealand act to perform in a free concert at Coronet Peak, after dDub closed the Queenstown Winter Festival on July 4.

Upcoming pop rock band Midnight Youth is booked to play on Saturday, September 18.
