This dramatic adventure is just one of the eight short plays written by Wakatipu children for the Cre8 Christmas Show 2008.
The children will perform the plays at the Wakatipu High School drama studio on Sunday at 11am.
The show is the brainchild of 40 Wakatipu children, aged 4 to 15, who wrote the script and will perform their festive-themed stories.
"It's great for the kids to have an audience.
It gives them self-confidence and it's fantastic for developing teamwork and communication skills," Cre8 teacher Nikkie Whitehead said.
Tickets for the Cre8 Christmas Show cost $5 for adults and $2 for children over 5. Children under 5 get in free.
