An Arrowtown-based trust has applied for resource consent for a five-lot subdivision in Arrow Junction Rd.
Spirus Trust, on behalf of its trustees Maurice Orr and Southern Trustees 2005 Ltd, wants to establish residential building platforms on four of the five lots.
An existing dwelling would be retained.
The site, at 64 Arrow Junction Rd, is bounded by State Highway 6, Arrow Junction Rd and the Eden and Moonlight Stables properties.
The site is currently used for rural lifestyle purposes.
Most of the land is a small farmlet.
Land-use consent was also sought to build residential units of "non-specific design" and any ancillary buildings within each residential building platforms.
Building and landscape design controls have been offered as part of the application.
The trust proposed allotments ranging from 0.39ha to 2.04ha, with building platforms ranging from 385sq m to 608sq m.
Two accessways from Arrow Junction Rd were proposed - an existing crossing, and a new crossing about 100m south of the Arrow Junction-State Highway 6 intersection.
Submissions close on March 10.
