Wednesday proved to be perfect for an afternoon playing bowls in Arrowtown, with warm sunshine, no wind and stunning autumn colours as a backdrop.
Arrowtown Bowling Club and Peregrine Winery invited players to a half-day tournament as part of the Arrowtown Autumn Festival programme, and club president John Polson said those involved enjoyed a relaxing and social day.
