Individual, confidential consultation with Queenstown police is being offered to all Wakatipu residents and visitors in Remarkables Park Town Centre every month.

Frankton and Kingston community liaison officer Constable Zoe Albon, of Queenstown, has made herself available for private, discreet and non-judgemental drop-in sessions at Queenstown Community Link, within the Work and Income office, at the far end of the town centre.

Constable Albon said she encouraged everyone to talk to her about their issues, concerns, information, questions and ideas, whether police-related or not, for feedback, referral, or for solutions agreed by the two parties.

There might be questions over the new child-restraint law, legal or illegal drugs, neighbourhood noise, or whether or not to call 111 in an incident.

''We have different ways of solving issues and they don't necessarily create more problems,'' Const Albon said.

''You don't have to give me your details, it's really about establishing trust and, as police in the community, you can trust us.''

Const Albon is available to discuss all community matters at Queenstown Community Link on November 27 and December 18 from 1pm-4pm.
