Stu Cordelle (43) has been appointed leisure and group sales manager responsible for the resort's business development and growth.
Mr Cordelle has 20 years' experience with tourism companies, most recently as retail sales manager at Real Journeys and sales and marketing manager at Mitre Peak Cruises.
He has also worked in business management at Travelex NZ Ltd and Travelex Financial services NZ Ltd.
He was general manager retail for Travelex Financial Services in New Zealand and Fiji for just over two years, managing about 90 staff in 38 branches.
Millbrook sales and marketing director Kim Carpenter said Mr Cordelle was joining the Millbrook team to help guide and direct the resort into the future.
"Stu lives and breathes the resort lifestyle, and with his experience he will help us to achieve our sales goals and to focus on key markets around the world," she said.
Mr Cordelle has lived in Queenstown since 1989.
He said he relished the opportunity to work at Millbrook after watching the resort's growth and development over the past 16 years.
"I've joined a top-class team at Millbrook, where the future looks so positive, especially with our new property developments and the new Coronet Nine golf course," he said.
His interests included golf, gym and mountain biking, so Millbrook was his "dream lifestyle", he said.
