After viewing the "Arrowtown Today" image in the ODT on October 8, Mr Beadle contacted the newspaper seeking permission to sell the photograph in the Arrowtown Gallery and hopefully benefit the Lakes District Museum.
"I just thought it was such a fantastic initiative and the photo itself is just amazing.
"I think the ODT photographer did a great job. The clarity of the photo is amazing; it's a piece of history.
"If somebody comes in over the next few weeks and they can identify themselves in the photo ... I'll give them 10% off. If they want to get the thing framed, I'll give 10% of the price of the framing to the Lakes District Museum.
"The [museum] does a hell of a lot for the community and doesn't get much back."
Prices for the image - unframed - ranged from $24, to $340 for the large print pictured.
