Markets return in Wanaka

The regular Wanaka Sunday Craft market will begin again on Sunday on the market corner of Pembroke Park and will be held frequently until the end of May.

The markets have been run for 15 years by the Upper Clutha Community Arts Council.

Co-ordinator Susan Manson said yesterday two markets in November would include a "Crafty Kids" mini market, where children would be able to sell their crafts for no stall charge.

Meanwhile, a Wanaka Farmers and Gardeners Market will be held on November 1 at Pembroke Park in the carpark corner.
