Man hurt as tree topples crane near Arrowtown

A crane driver has been hurt after a large black poplar tree being removed for safety reasons toppled his crane near Arrowtown this morning.

The man has been taken to Lakes District Hospital at Frankton with what are thought to be minor injuries.

The accident closed Speargrass Flat Rd near Arrowtown.
