A 35-year-old Indian man has been charged with dangerous driving after an incident in the Gibbston Valley.
Senior Sergeant Ian Temple, of the Southern District Command Centre, said the man overtook three vehicles on State Highway 6, near Nevis Bluff, about 6pm yesterday, forcing the other drivers to take evasive action.
Police could provide no other information on the incident.
