A man who was assaulted in his home at Frankton on Sunday morning suffered bruising to his ribs, forehead, upper back and neck, Acting Sergeant Terry Wood, of Queenstown, said yesterday.
Sgt Wood said the incident occurred at 9.45am at a Yewlett Cres address, when three males entered the property and assaulted one of the residents before leaving.
The three were later tracked down and spoken to by police.
A 16-year-old will be dealt with by the Youth Court, while a 17-year-old and 19-year-old have been arrested and charged and will appear in the Queenstown District Court.
